Why does Metal or Goth Metal music help me sleep at night?
filed in Goth Music on May.27, 2010
And with other music me listening to it doesn’t do anything for me but all it does is get’s on my nerves. Does any of this make any sense? I can’t sleep without Metal or Gothic music I know i’m weird.
If I have a Headache my music also helps me with that to, Any other music creates Headaches for me.

Symphonic metal works better.
Although, you could have an ear problem that requires background noise to equalize the false readings in your ears.

Try some Indian classical – instrumental! Santoor, Sitar or Shehanai
Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ravi Shankar and Bismillah Khan.
They are mild and lull you to sleep without any after effects.

Because metal might bring back good soothing memories or something. I know I can’t sleep without my screamo.Cause it reminds me of the little fun I have in the summer with my family,

Me too, metal music helps me sleep. The fast guitars and drum, and screaming is freaking awesome….and it also helps you sleep =]
It’s weird, i don’t know why. People would usually think how can anyone sleep with all the “noise,” but those have to be the best “noise” i’ve ever heard.

Same here. I thought I was alone.
I like System of a Down to bed, and Marilyn Manson. (not really both in the same night
