Vlog 49: Music influences of my early Goth days…
filed in Goth Music on Aug.25, 2010
In my first Vlog today I speak about my early music influences from my beginning days in the Gothic scene (anno domini 2001)… It was a wish from a good YouTube friend and subscriber of mine that I should talk about some German Gothic bands and projects, which impressed me mostly with their individual sounds and lyrics… Yes, and that´s now the reason why I took 10 different music albums and speak a little bit about them.
…and these are now the 10 albums (in an alphabetic order): 1) Blutengel – “Seelenschmerz” (2001) 2) Calva Y Nada – “Monologe eines Baumes” (1993) 3) Crematory – “Believe” (2000) 4) Goethes Erben – “Tote Augen sehen Leben” (1994) 5) Das Ich – “Antichrist” (2002) 6) Rammstein – “Mutter” (2001) 7) Terminal Choice – “Collective Suicide” (2002)
Umbra et Imago – “Infantile Spiele” (1993) 9) Untoten vs. Soko Friedhof – “Dresscode Black II” (2002) 10) :Wumpscut: – “Music for a slaughtering tribe” (1993) Video 1 of 2 (from the 28th of September 2009)

Ist doch okay. Warum soll ich schliesslich auch meine Herkunft verleugnen? Das ist einfach nur authentisch – und es gibt nicht wenige, die meinen Akzent/Dialekt “süss” finden.

No problem, Noel = your wish is my command.
You can find now all the names and titles in the discription box.
Mmhhh… yes. It is good to smile when you talk about “pain and suffering” – because it is important to distinguish between real (and bad) pain & suffering and a fictional atmosphere in a creative way.
I should watch the “Hedwig” movie in the next time – in the recent Time I was to busy.

Thank you, Sandra!
But maybe you can list the bands and CD titles in the video description section over there? ————->
I don’t know how to spell these names.
I love the way you smile when you talk about the songs being about pain and suffering
Dark energy is a source of creativity for me.
Lately, I’ve been listening a lot to the Hedwig soundtrack and The Cliks, a group I just found out about.
Thank you, again. This gives me some new music to listen to.
