WFKU Industrial Death Match Round #1
filed in Goth Industrial on Aug.11, 2010
This is the slower set. (120BPM-145BPM). The purpose of these “Industrial Death Matches” are for me to experiment with creating electronic music in an interactive and “punk rock” manner. I’ve build several controllers to aid with this. I’m trying to do something that is, for me personally, completely different to anything I’ve done before. I’ve always made music in a structured and precise way. This new approach is helping me break old habits and “play” electronic music. I am inspired by Thomas Dolby and “The Dirt Chamber Sessions” by Liam Howlett (The Prodigy). I should also mention it’s THE BEST FUN!! I hope you enjoy this and are also inspired to try something new!! Tracks massacred: Gary Numan “Cars”; Duran Duran “Hungry Like the Wolf”; Ministry “Just One Fix”; The Ting Tings “That’s not my Name”; Peter Gabriel “Shock the Monkey” Gear used: Doepfer: Dark Energy, A-190, A-138, A-138C, A-132-4, A-154, A-155, A-160, A-143-2, A-102, A-174, A-106-XP, A-110, A-129/1, A-129/2, A-188-1, A-189-1 Korg: Kaoss Pad v3 Akai: APC20 Custom Angelspit Instruments: Joystick Controller, Attenuators, Ribbon/Slide Controller, Multiples www.angelspit.net

This is total badass. What are you using to sync your analogue gear to the tracks? Very impressive any-which-way! Would be really cool to go to a club where the songs were this mashed/fucked-up by the DJ
