Our wedding is nightmare before christmas themed and we are both very dark individuals. I’m looking for a slow industrial/darkwave song that has meaning. Right now I’m in love with VNV nation – illusion, but I’m still on the search for that perfect song.

My first thought was “Love Never Dies (Part 1)” by Apoptygma Berzerk, but that’s pretty fast and upbeat. There’s Part 2, which is much slower with a female singer.

Snake River Conspiracy and Jack Off Jill both did a cover of “Lovesong” by The Cure, I think both are really good. JOJ is more like the original, SRC’s cover is a darker, industrial version.
