The Amazing Spider Lilies have released two (2) new Songs on their official MySpace page. The titles? ‘Follow‘ and ‘Nearly Forgotten’.

 

Here is the statement made by the band’s enigmatic & stunning lead singer and founding member Stacy Campbell

    “I’m very excited to have just posted 2 new songs! These songs are the first examples of a new level of collaboration between myself and William. I just love the sound of them, and look forward to doing more things like this!”

Some may be aware that Stacy Campbell is a former member of the well known darkwave band known as the Cruxshadows.

Now on to the music….  Well it looks like the genre may not be going to each and every last dog :-) .  Although it will have to be added that myspace perhaps begs more of a radio-length track, great rythm goes a long way.  Much of the genre today seems babies and bathwater where percussion’s concerned not to mention vocal quality.   It’s very core-riginal material and the new collaboration between Stacy and William seems quality brew.  Perhaps the album-lengthiness of the tracks stems from Campbell’s time spent with the international Cruxshadows within whose music one finds epic and grandeurious per-track length.  We have never been disappointed with the percussion pumping forth from the SpiderLilies music, thank you very muc.  Not leastly, stacy is simply fascinating to watch and to hear performing on stage.  Let’s just end this note with William and Kevin also being very sharp and fashionable plus a dash of personable.
