Does anyone know any cool artist or bands? Something that sounds like the cure the smiths, new wave type. Or like indie bands? I like black kids and all the aritsts from the 500 days of summer soundtrack. I’m tired of listening to the same MTV shit. thx

I remember I used to listen to 80’s music all the time when i was a kid. so it had to be back in the late 90’s and early 00’s. I know i used to listen to B94.9, but they only played 80’s for one year from 2001-2002. So there must have been another station. [...]

I like the genre of music but I’m having a hard time finding some good bands.

My friend is doing a project for his sociology class on goth subculture, and he asked me to make him a cd of bands that influenced goth music. So far I have bauhaus, sisters of mercy, siouxsie and the banshees, the cure, and alien sex fiend. Is there anything I’m missing?
