So i have heard that alot of record companies are not so much going bankrupt, but are more so losing alot of money as a result of internet downloads! This is a fact, correct? i heard that another piece of the pie will be taken in the new contracts they make you sign! they wanna take a piece of the money generated through band touring or playing any kind of live show.. is this true?

If it is, then this brings me to my topic! if companies have gone and made it sooo much harder for an actual band (talented musicians) to survive, regardless of what they already have to sacrifice! then why not fight back? I’m not saying fight the company head on, i’m saying fight them in a way that’s beneficial to the band! basically if they want to give you half ass paychecks then you give half ass work!

Now how many people would be offended to see a band with only a singer and a keyboardist with all the other instruments looping in the background playing new wave music??
